CABAMIX exhibits at K 2022 in Düsseldorf!

CABAMIX, a family-run company specializing in mineral compounds for the plastics industry, has developed a new recyclable masterbatch Carbomax®Phoenix that will be presented for the first time at K Düsseldorf.

Carbomax®Phoenix is composed of 100% recycled calcium carbonate and rPE from PCR, PIR or chemical recycling. The material will allow you to substantially improve the recycled content of your finished products. Carbomax®Phoenix is an interesting solution, considering the growing demand for recycled polymers. It is already perfect for film extrusion. Convince yourself, test it!

For those who do not yet know it, CABAMIX also offers you Carbomax®Bio

Carbomax?®Bio comes in granular form and is made of premium quality calcium carbonate with a mixture of 100% biodegradable and compostable polymers. Depending on the grade it has up to 80% biosourced content. It meets the requirements of European standard EN 13432. Carbomax?®Bio holds several compostability and biodegradability certificates issued by TÜV Austria depending on the grade: OK compost Industrial, OK compost Home or OK biodegradable Soil, as well as European and FDA certificates for food contact applications.

They are mixed with different materials such as PBAT, PLA, PBS, or starch-based compounds, and compounds based on these materials. The main applications are film extrusion, injection and thermoforming.

Carbomax®?Bio has a number of benefits: during the manufacturing process, to improve the mechanical properties of finished products and save between 10% and 25% depending on the percentage used.

There are many applications where compostability makes sense and where Carbomax?®Bio is commonly used, such as compostable flexible bags, alcochado film for agriculture, coffee capsules…

About CABAMIXFounded in 2013 and located in the South of France, near a calcium carbonate quarry of great purity, CABAMIX exports its products to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and South America. CABAMIX has a production plant of 4000 m2, 250 m2 of office space and 11 employees.

Aware of the importance of the role of raw material suppliers in the development of eco-design, the Founder and Managing Director, Arnaud CLAUDE, wants to develop new formulations that are more environmentally friendly and that meet the expectations of transformers: finished product performance, process optimization, as well as the possibility of reducing formulation costs.
